Did you know October is Pasta Month? Me, either, until just recently. I don't eat pasta often, but when I do, I love spinach and cheese ravioli and angel hair. I love Buca Di Beppo, pictured below. Pope Room, holla!
What's your favorite pasta?

Check out this cute slideshow of myself and Chef Rick Moonan cooking a dish for Three Square Food Banks, which feeds hungry people in the Southern Nevada area!

Prom is soooooo much more fun when you are older! I had a great time with my friends in high school (sorry, those pics are so buried in storage I wouldn't know where to find them), but adult prom is so much better! I'm more confident, my date and I are more photogenic and the music was better. There were Oompa-Loompas there, too!

I love the new issue of Vegas magazine! I was surprised to notice that the photo they used of me inside on page 82 and 83 appears to be a raw, unretouched photo. Also, the gorgeous cover shot of Padma Lakshmi shows the scar on her arm. I find this lack of retouching so refreshing. Don't get me wrong, I need as much or more digital help than the next person, but I am a fan of the skill required of a photographer who can take a great photo without having to run straight to the computer to make it look good.

Here are some outtakes from the shoot in Marilyn Monroe's clothes by Denise Truscello. This shoot was a dream come true for me because I am obsessed with Marilyn and my favorite toy as a kid was a book of Marilyn Monroe paper dolls my aunt gave me. The frilly lavendar jacket in the picture below was one of the items depicted in the paper doll set, in fact. Pick up a copy of Vegas magazine to see the photo they chose for the "centerfold"!

Be sure and check out the premiere episode of Girls Next Door Season 6 tomorrow-I show the twins around Vegas!

It's Oktoberfest, ya'll! I tapped the keg at the Vegas Hofbrau Haus today . . I have been to the original in Munich, and this one is a great replica! The food was amazing! I had pretzel, desserts, potato soup and a big bowl of big pickles!
